These are absolutely yummy as well as good for you and they passed the kid “test”
Sugarless Coconut Macaroon Angel “kisses”
5 1/2 cups of flaked coconut
2/3 cup of Splenda
5 1/2 tbsp of flour
1/4 tsp salt ( I use iodized sea salt)
4 egg whites
1 1/2 tsp almond extract
mix the dry ingredients stir in the whites and extract, blend well.
shape into loose little balls, or drop by tablespoon onto sprayed cookie sheet.
bake at 325 degrees for 20 min(watch so the edges barely turn brown)
(3 dozen )
variations: toast sliced almonds and add to dough, and or dip the base in melted dark chocolate and set on waxed paper and place in the fridge until hardened.
Good and good for you…YUM

Create a strategy to obtain that one “nugget” ( a healthy meal) then repeat.
Just like the squirrel, as you repeat this you will build muscle(inner strength) and viola’
you will reach your goal before you know it.

HOW can you combine these when your body is a carb control “freak”
and come out the WINNER?
Here is just one of my favorite recipies
In a pan of water, cook a whole head of cauliflower ( you can break it up)
until it is very tender. Drain off the water.
Boil 6 or more eggs. cool in cold water and peel the shells off.
Mash the cauliflower. Use a food processor or whip with mixer for a fluffier version.
Add the following while the cauliflower is still warm.
Take out all or part of the yolks ,if you are watching calories
( here at farm funnies we feed these our dogs, our vet said extra yolks doesn’t cause health issues for them)
Chop the whites and add to your cauliflower.
For low cal version, add butter flavoring, mustard, chopped pickles(seet or dill, depending on preference)
If you want a richer version then use mayo, sour cream (or cottage cheese , processed until it is somoth)
salt pepper to taste.
The amounts are to taste, and I roughly follow my favorite regular potato salad recipie
CHILL..this causes a happy marriage of the ingredients YUMM

Recently I have enjoyed cooking a very tasty low carb chinese type dish I recently concocted.
So what comes next ? Why sharing with you, of course
It is a YUMMY, healthy, easy and quick weightloss meal plan “weapon”, aka it is satisfying & allows you
to combat the “bad” high carb & high glycemic chinese dishes, that we all love and enjoy.

for each person:
1/2 Tbsp organic coconut oil
1-2 frozen turkey patties
1-2 TBSP Bragg’s liquid aminos
1/2 cup each of frozen green peppers( unless you have fresh ones handy)
and frozen stir fry veggies mixture (non noodles) I look for veggies that
contain about 5 carbs per cup
sliced mushrooms if desired,
1/4- 1/2 tsp of ground ginger.

Melt the coconut oil in your skillet.
Add the frozen turkey patties .
I use the ones that are already spicy,
I found mine in the frozen food section at our local Winco store.
Cook the meat until done.
Add the frozen sliced bell peppers
and stir fry veggies ( I like the ones with asparagus spears in it)
Continue cooking until the veggies are tender (not mushy)
Add the sliced mushrooms, before the veggies are done, then cook all until tender
Add the Braggs liqquid amino and ground ginger.
YUM a fabulous, quicck and easy lean & green meal.
If you really need or want noodles, ( but only if you are in maintainence, or not on our 5 & 1 program)
then head over to the refrigerated area of the healthfood section at your local Fred Meyers.
There you will find some low carb noodles made out of tofu, these are really good, trust me.
(Of course they are aren’t the same as pasta, but they are close enough to help you get through the
noodle craving stage, if you are limiting your carbs, which if you are on our program to lose quickly
and safely, you should be)
The health food section of your local Fred Myers store, or perhaps a health food store,
is where you can find a bottle of Bragg’s liguid aminos and the organic coconut oil.
Bragg’s liquid aminos is great to use in place of a higher carb soy sauce, while you are in the witht loss phase
as well as when in maintainence.
Halloween is right around the corner, the stores have nearly every aisle and corner lined with “goodies”
Your neighbors, your co-workers your friends, your family are all bringing in candy , munchies & crunchies
BEWARE…
So, What can you do for your choice to create healthy weightloss meal plans?
# 1 STOP… really STOP…make victory fists with both hands, shove them to the ceiling as you stand up
as you give yourself YOUR victory shout. YES,I CAN
#2 LOOK around you , access your “battleground”
Is it filled with “landminds” and fat “traps” ?
If you have decided NOW is the time ( and it is in’t it?)
We all know Tomorrows NEVER arrive, if we keep “doing” it “tomorrow”.
So now… TODAY… this min …IS the TIME
< YOUR TIME>
#3 make a dump “run” that’s right TRASH it, ALL of it, no matter what it “cost”
Is the price of keeping it and consequently eating and WEARING it, worth it?
Wouldn’t you rather WEAR a new SKINNY outfit?
YOU know what I mean,
the outfit that makes you feel like a million bucks.
I LOVE belts . What do you love, but never wear ?
#4 Create a strategy,
If you must make some goodies & treats, do like I do and send them to a group.
Tweak your recipies and make them healthier, use a few “traditional” candies to “garnish”
Better:
Choose some healthy fun snacks for the big “scary” night.
Get some low carb ,high fiber tortilla’s and make your own chips,
Blend cottage cheese and make your own dip.
Most kids enjoy veggies and dips
Use sugar free jello to make your own gummy “worms”
put 1/3 cup of water into a metal pan (non aluminum)
slowly sprinkle in a 3 oz pkt of sugar free jello
then 2 pkts of unflavored (knox type) gelatin
let this set 10 min to soften the gelatin
set the pan on medium heat stirring until well dissolved(3-4 min)
pour this into a measuring cup with a spout
then pour into corn starch dusted candy molds
let them set for 15 minutes then place in your freezer until hard
and then pop the gummies out of the molds..
Viola’ a nutritious sugar free candy for the kids..yummy gummies, guilt free
(worms can be created by pouring gelatin into a shallow pan ,
then cutting the gelatin into “worms” after they come out of the freezer)
air pop some pop corn.
If you are currently on a program , such as my personal clients, stick to it, don’t “stop” just for a “little” bite
get to your goal first
Halloweens come , Halloweens go, but how you REALLY want to spend each one is up to you.
Decide for YOU and then do what YOU want, no matter what the crowd is doing.
I just purchased a new online cook book. It is packed with fabulous “secret recipies”. I have similar cook books, these are great fun to use.
PSSST…I can hardly wait to TWEAK this new one with my life long “secrets” for family nutrition,health & weighloss …YAY
As a certified health & weightloss coach I do not encourage beginning a new exercise program when you start your life long quest for optimal health.
I encourage you to get your weightloss meal plans established.
If you choose to use the weightloss meal plans I used to lose my initial 100+ pounds
I even encourage you to cut your exercise in HALF. YES, you heard right, in half.
This is for the 1st three weeks , to help your body get into what we ,as coaches, call the FAT burning mode.
If you are new to excercise, save the link to come back to watch this video at a later date.
For now, I encourage you to just start moving more.
depending on how much weight you have to lose, your physical condition, remember
slow is better.
A walk around the room, your yard, your block what ever feels comfortable for you.
You may only be able to walk slowly for a short time or distance . That’s OK.
I do encourage you ,after your first 3 weeks, to start moving more that you usually do.
As long as your personal physician agrees.
Increase that by increments.

I promised a cool dessert for your weightloss meal plans.
It may be a couple of days later than I promised, but it is still a really “cool” recipie for summer.
I have always liked grahmn cracker crusts and some from “scratch” cake like crusts
for our cheese cakes.
I have since discovered a fantastic crust that is sugar free , gluten free
I have modified this into a format we enjoy even better than the one I started with,which is extremely low in carbs,
anyone wishing my version, just ask me and I will send it to you in the mail.
I love this crust, not only because of the great taste but I feel better w/o the sugar laden crackers.
I hope you enjoy it as well.
Gluten free cheese cake crust:
This is an adaption from the book, Dr.Atkin’s New Diet cookbook.
This cook book has some great low carb recipies in it.
I am sure you could locate an inexpensive used on at Amazon.com
Nutty pie crust:
1 cup of processed or ground almonds ( I grind them in my heavy duty blender)
2 cups of soy flour, 4 pkts of sugar substitute packages, 1/4- 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
blend together
Cut in
1 cup of chilled butter (use a good non hydrogynated butter substitute if you want this to be casein free)
mix together wrap in waxed paper and chill in your fridge.
Press onto the bottom and 1/3 or more up the sides your cheese cake pan
fill with your favorite cheese cake filling
(you can half this recipie and press into a pie tin (set another weighted,with rice or beans, pie tin inside to prevent puffing
and bake 30 min at 400 degree’s. remove weighted pan and bake 5 more min.
cool and fill with your favoite pie filling
( sugar free chocolate pudding and pie filling makes a great low cal/low carb sugar free filling.use almond or soy milk for casein free)
